Mastercard Gateway

As Senior Designer at big group, I developed the look and feel of the new Mastercard Gateway platform. Working with the accounts team and client to develop a photographic treatment communicating the key message – ‘a world of connections makes it possible’.

I currently lead the creative direction of Mastercard Gateway imagery and video, guiding internal designers and the motion team on creating assets across different channels to ensure consistency.

Freenow

The FREENOW mobility super app supports live music in the UK, giving the brand a point of difference from other ride apps.

As Senior Designer at big group, I led the creative direction of a successful cross-platform awareness campaign including social, digital, OOH and influencer content for the 2023 Mercury Prize and the Brockwell Live summer festival series 2023.

The successful campaigns raised impressions, increased positive perception of the brand, and increased press coverage.

DeLonghi product launch

Working with a creative director and a copywriter at big group, I was tasked with developing ideas for an event to launch the new Rivelia coffee machine by Delonghi.  A direct bean to coffee machine with easily interchangeable coffee pods, our insight was based around the USP of ‘switching the beans’.

I brought each of our three ideas to life with a key visual and a mood board to show the concept, look and feel.

Mastercard Trend Report

Design of a 32-page white paper for Mastercard, with a more tech-focused aesthetic, ensuring a more innovative look than previous editions. The design was then translated into an interactive web experience.

Freenow Music Activation Toolkit

Creative Lead, working with a small team on the creation of a toolkit for the FREENOW ‘Ride for Music’ campaign. A document to guide internal teams and external partners on how to create a consistent approach when designing print and digital material. The document contained links to download all assets which we prepared for digital and print use within a clear folder structure.

Face of Fashion, National Portrait Gallery

Collaborated closely with the architects at Adjaye Associates, to design the identity, signage, and printed materials for the fashion photography exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

As a designer at the Southbank Centre, I led the creation of the identity for a campaign promoting an art exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, utilising a clean typographic approach to convey the concept of an immersive experience.

Thames Water quarterly magazine

Lead the creative direction for the redesign of Thames Water’s internal bi-monthly magazine, aligning its look and feel with the company’s brand refresh. Delivered in both print and digital formats, the revamped publication significantly boosted readership and employee engagement.

Mastercard Learning Labs

Mastercard Learning Lab is the go-to resource for professionals looking to learn, upskill and innovate in payments.

Working closely with a copywriter, I created the visual identity and a series of key visuals to use on the Mastercard website and across social.

Thames employee e-cards

I created a set of three digital e-cards to acknowledge colleagues or teams at Thames Water who have gone above and beyond in their roles. “Amp Champ” refers to the five-year Asset Management Plan (AMP) cycle that guiges the water indusry.

Wave Marketing Communications brand identity

Led a full-scale brand identity redesign for Wave Marketing Communications, overseeing initial concept development through to final execution. Designed new logo, print collateral, website and office graphics, ensuring a cohesive and modern branding identity.

Thames brand optimisation

As part of a team of designers and copywriters, I refreshed the Thames Water brand to make it more modern, digital-first, and accessible for visually impaired users.

I played a key role in selecting refreshed, accessible colours, choosing an additional impactful title font, and designing a series of skyline illustrations representing each area of Thames Water’s operations.
